A thoughtful renovation starts before construction.
A closer look at the planning, selections and coordination behind the Renova process.

A finished space is the most visible part of a renovation. At Renova, the process begins earlier: with a conversation about your goals, the way you use the space and what you want to change.
Begin with a shared vision.
Our first steps bring your priorities, existing conditions, budget considerations and desired timing into the same conversation. We use that understanding to define the scope and develop a proposal before moving into the design and planning details.
Give selections a place in the plan.
Materials and finishes are part of the project planning process. Visual references and sample books help narrow the direction; physical samples help you consider the choices more closely. A selection sheet connects those decisions to the allowances in your estimate.
Whether working with a designer or building on your own ideas, the aim is to bring the important choices together before construction begins.
Carry the plan through completion.
Pre-construction planning brings the schedule, materials and coordination requirements together. During construction, project management and documented changes keep the work connected to the agreed scope. The final walkthrough is the opportunity to review the finished result and coordinate remaining items.
That is the intention behind the Renova approach: a clear path from the first idea to completion, with attention to both the space and the experience of creating it.
